Experience greater spiritual freedom and flourishing.

5 Gifts Of Spiritual Reconstruction

Freedom from old stories and institutionalized thinking

Non-judgemental community who embraces progress rather than perfection

Reconstructing an intimate connection with a power greater than yourself

Permission to be your true self so you can arise and flourish in the world

Awareness of your personal feelings, thoughts, intuition, and trusting your deepest longings and desires

My approach as your Spiritual Directior

  • Is an empathic understanding, listening longer, and connecting with your reality as it is today without judgement or restriction

  • Is an engaged imagination, a willingness to learn, and is not afraid of “surprises”

  • Is learning new practices, releasing unhealty attachments, and acting with connection to yourself and God as you understand God today.

What is Spiritual Direction?

The practice of spiritual direction is primarily concerned with an active posture of Holy Listening to our self and God. No pre-determined outcomes, no pre-work, just showing up honestly with where you are today in the presence of another. From my experience and my understanding of how we develop and grow as humans, our work in spiritual direction will engage the whole person; thoughts, feelings, instincts, body, desires, needs, surrendering, past, future, present, etc.

When we engage our whole person, we also start to confront our understanding of God, self, and others. We hold all that is brought up in the love and light of God for God to direct the session. Just like different counselors are drawn toward different modalities, every spiritual director has different ways of navigating the journey. I was certified as a Spiritual Direction at Lipscomb University and have been practicing Spiritual Direction since 2017. I draw from the richness of the Christian contemplative tradition as well as other modalities that I’ve been personally engaging for years such as Enneagram, Internal Family Systems, Ego/True Self, Recovery & 12 step work, trauma/story work, attachment theory, Ignatian spirituality & Nonduality.
